Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eMember › eMember – login showing "null", caused by "login using email" addon?
I have fancy login (1) set up to drop down from my menu using the solution given here:
But every time I try to log in, it says “null” in red lettering below my Submit button. When I deactivate the “login using email” addon, it simply says “username and/or password incorrect”.
If I try to login anywhere else (like on a login page), there is no “null” lettering but there might as well be since nothing happens.
Are you using one of our shortcodes to create the login? Which shortcode have you used?
I put this as a menu item under “Login” that I got from here https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/fancy-login-popup-on-menu-link#post-70318:
– In the URL field, paste “javascript:void(0);”
– In the CSS Classes field, paste “142311581351 emember_fancy_login_link”

But I’m suspecting it has something to do with the registration confirmation. It’s not being sent out when you register.
My debug log:
[deleted debug after checking it]
The customization from that link is not something I can troubleshoot (its got hardcoded copy and paste value which is not likely going to work for you). Those are okay for developers to use as hacks and stuff but we can’t really support those here.
This is what I can troubleshoot:
1) Post a link to your login page (the standard login page that eMember creates)
2) Give me the username, email and password of a test member account so I can test the login system.
