Tagged: login ie, login not remembered, remember, session
Hi,
I’m using WP 3.5 and eMember 8.4.8. I have read all documentations and setup-instructions but cannot solve the following issue:
I have imported the WP users with the appropriate function.
When logged in with my Admin-Account in Maintenance Mode everything is working smoothly. As soon as I deactivate maintenance mode using that same user with admin rights to login, everytime I click on another protecte page I have to login again. I have checked the remember me button.
I first thought of a php session problem, but tested that as well with the eStore plugin. The basket is remembered.
Other things I tried:
1. Deactivation of all other plugins – same problem
2. Use of other template – same problem
3. new install of plugin – same problem
4. New user created, he showed up in eMember; login: same problem
5. use of other computers and browsers – same problem
Please help!
One further information: I have enabled the WP-Sidebar login and do observe the following:
Logging into WordPress works fine, also the WP-eMember role system with different access level while a user is logged in.
So the issue i see must have something to do with using the WP-eMember Login form (tried the Widget and the code).
The automatically login-boxes are checked.
I have sent you an email to get access to the site so I can check your settings and troubleshoot this.
Have you changed anything already? It’s working now… I had to increase php memory as i ran into other problems. Not sure if that was the problem but anyway, the problem no longer exists. Will observe tomorrow again and come back to you if necessary.
