Hi all,
I’ve created a “Member Login” page.
While viewing it, I discovered the following:
» Forgot Password?
==> the pop-up is ok enough…
How do I edit the text displayed on this?
» Join Us
==> Is linking to wrong page!
It’s linking to the ‘…/membership-payment’-page (!),
while it should be linking to the “Membership Registration”-page – right?!
How do I correct this?
Thanks in advance!

Join us is linking to the “Memember Payment” pages – This is correct. The first step of joining the membership site is to “make a payment” which is why the “Join Us” link takes to the payment page (they will be redirected to the registration page after a successful payment). This link explains the typical membership registration flow for eMember:
For your free membership you can simply place a link to the “Registration Page”. The “Join Us” page on the demo site has a good example of this:
If for whatever reason you want visitors to go to the “Registration page” when they click the “join us” link then simply enter the URL of the registration page in the “membership payment/join” field of the settings menu.

Ok. I’m thinking about skipping the free option entirely…
When the member has to make a payment first through the “Join Us”-page,
and since they will be redirected to the registration page after a successful payment,
why then have the “registration”-page visible at all?!
Thanks again!

On your registration page you can place a link pointing to the “Join Us” page telling them that they can only register after a payment (in case someone goes there by mistake). Besides, you can remove the “registration” page from the wordpress menu using a page exclude plugin if you don’t want it to be there at all.
