eMember – link to registration page after payment opening free registration

The link emailed to customers, upon confirmation of their email, returned them to the email confirmation page. The registration page was not recognizing that it had been opened by the link.

I followed option 2 creating the new page, entering the shortcode suggested, and adjusting the links corrected that problem. I have two membership levels; free and premium, When people opt to subscribe and pay through paypal they are returned to register but once again the registration page does not recognize the origin of the link and the page locks them into registering as a free member. The registration page should acknowledge premium membership level. The premium membership level ID is correctly identified to paypal.

To whom it may concern

I have found after following several different posts a reference to a 404 redirect plugin.

I deactivated that and my problems went away. I now need to work out how to do selective redirects for 404 messages.

What is the name of the plugin? Knowing which one will help other eMember users.
