eMember – Let use register for Multiple Free Levels

Good afternoon, I’m hoping you can help with this one…

I’m using eMember in an odd way. I am designing a website for a private school. I want parents to sign up once, but essentially be able to subscribe to each teacher’s webpage (well, category) when they have a child in a particular class. So, each membership level is a teacher’s category. How can I show every membership level on the registration form so a parent can check off which they would like to subscribe?

Example:

Username: []

Name: []

Phone: []

Email: []

Level 1 (kindergarten): [] <– check box

Level 2 (1st grade): [] <– check box

Level 3 (2nd grade): [] <– check box

etc etc.

I’m then creating an export of the database and using it to populate various distribution lists in Microsoft Exchange so teachers can send notifications/info to parents.

Since you are using it in a odd way, you will need to do a little work around.

Users can’t choose multiple membership levels but you can create some custom fields to collect the required info at the time to registration. You will add a few checkboxes via custom fields which will allow the users to fill those fields. This way you will know which membership levels they are interested in. Once a user registers you will have all the required info to populate your distribution lists.
