eMember PayPal IPN Validation failed

Hi there,

Apologies if this has been asked before, I can’t find any references that closely relate to my problem below:

I’m having real trouble configuring eMember for testing using paypal sandbox and a standard paypal button.

Everything appears to be working correctly, payment goes through and redirect back to site works. However a user account is never created. In the ipn_handle_debug_eMember.log I get the following:

[12/10/2013 8:33 PM] – SUCCESS :Connection to http://www.paypal.com successfuly completed.

[12/10/2013 8:33 PM] – FAILURE :IPN validation failed.

[12/10/2013 8:33 PM] – SUCCESS :Paypal class finished.

In paypal sandbox reports IPN history I get success (HTTP response code 200) and in the post section it’s definitely passing back the following: custom=[wp_eMember_custom_value level_id=2]

Wonder if you can give me a pointer as to where to go next?

Hi Tim, Sandbox transaction most of the time doesn’t work because of sandbox account setup related issue.
