Hi there, I am using the inline pop up login option and its functioning ok.
Only issue is – In the settings page I have enabled the option that in case of inline login the viewer stays on the same page/post even if the after login redirection is set.
But when I login by using credentials in the pop up login, I get redirected again but I want to stay on the same post/page.
Any ideas how to get that done ?
August 10, 2016 at 4:02 am #73911adminKeymasterThe inline login widget and the popup logins are TWO different things. You can’t use the inline login if you have the popup option enabled. You have to disable the popup login to use the inline functionality.
Only the inline login option has the option to not redirect at this stage.
August 10, 2016 at 6:30 am #73912DebuMemberHI there,
Its a silly thing, but I am getting confused between the two.
By inline widget do you mean this code – [wp_eMember_compact_login]
Even if I use that and click the login button – a pop up emerges which redirects me to after login page.
Or POP up login is something different as you told – but am not able to differentiate. I did go through the documentation and could not find.
What I want to achieve is that – when I enter the inline login (am confused which one is that) in a post I should be in that post & not redirected.
Can you clear this doubt ?
August 11, 2016 at 1:32 am #73913adminKeymasterThe shortcode you shared is for the compact login. That is not the inline login.
1) Make sure the “Enable Fancy Login Widget/Popup” option is turned off. The inline login widget can’t work if you have this option enabled.
2) Go to the settings menu of eMember and look at the following field:
Inline Login Widget Option
3) Read the help text below that field which explains what it is. Basically, when you click the standard login link inside a protected post or page, it show the login form inside that post’s content.
August 11, 2016 at 3:01 am #73914DebuMemberHi, I turned the Enable Fancy Login Widget/Popup – off.
Just below there is the option either to disable the inline login widget or prevent redirection when chosen the inline option.
Will the inline get activated automatically once dance pop up is disabled ? I did that , cleared cache but still not getting it.

August 11, 2016 at 5:23 am #73915DebuMemberThe goal I want to achieve is that – If a viewer tries to log in to the website from a post , then I want to stay in the post only after logging in (no redirection).
Other logins can be redirected. That is why I want to use the inline widget (but I still not able to use them and I can’t find them).
If there is any other way to achieve this, then that also is fine.
Waiting for a solution.
Thanks.
August 12, 2016 at 1:46 am #73916adminKeymasterYeah the inline login automatically activates on any link that the plugin creates for your protected posts/pages. I will jump on your site to take a look.
August 12, 2016 at 1:50 am #73917DebuMemberHI there, Sorry for the confusion I am still not able to find the inline login widget. Here is one of the posts from the site [http://www.dentalpub.com]
Thank you.
August 12, 2016 at 2:06 am #73918adminKeymasterI still see the popup login on your site. You likely have a caching issue which is showing that cached page.
When you click on the “login” link, there can be NO popup. Once that happens, reply back to this email so I can check your link again.
