eMember – how to protect files

Hi, I wonder if you can help!

I have some files on the site (PDF’s and ZIP’s) which people can download when they click. However, if I give someone a link to that content, I’d expect eMember to interfere and ask for a login before allowing download (if the user isn’t already logged in).

This doesn’t happen. From some of the other posts on here I’ve seen it “can be done” but it’s not explained how. Or at least I couldn’t find it.

Can you advise?
