I currently have a Menu Tab labeled “UPGRADE”. Once members upgrade to the VIP membership level, I’d like this Menu Tab “UPGRADE” to no longer be visible to the VIP Members.

How can I go about completing this task?

You’d need to tweak your theme, so that navigation menus are selectively displayed, based on membership level:
