Hello,
I am trying to configure the captcha feature for the WP eMember plugin. It is not working. I get an error code; Fatal error: Cannot redeclare _recaptcha_qsencode() (previously declared in /home/content/62/9737362/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/recaptchalib.php:47) in /home/content/62/9737362/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-recaptcha/recaptchalib.php on line 55 . I downloaded wp-recaptcha.3.1.6 from the wordpress plugin download interface. I uninstalled it and tried again… got the same result. I then went to my FPT file manager and noticed that there was an empty recaptcha folder in wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/recaptchalib.php I cannot delete this folder. I tried your alternative addon but the download page for members no longer has it. After this I tried bwp-recaptcha as a suggestion from the developer of recaptcha plugin. Please help as I would really like to have this feature as a peice of mind for my customers and protection from spam.

That is something you need to sort out first. Your folder/file permissions looks to be messed up a little on this server which is why you couldn’t delete the folder. Please tell your hosting provider that you need to delete a plugin folder but you couldn’t and they will be able to fix it for you. Once you clear that up you won’t see the issue you saw earlier.
You couldn’t download the eMember’s captcha addon because our customer record shows that you only have the eStore plugin. I have sent you an email to sort it out.
