eMember – German translation not working

I switched my eMember Language to “German” but nothing will change. Neother in the front-End or the Back-End.

Thanks. I went into the /lang-Directory and was surprised to find most language files named after foreign languages but in fact not translated. In my case it was called ger.php (German) but every term was in english. Well I am translating it now.

One of our users gave us a German translation but then few other users complained that the translations are wrong so we reverted it back with place holders (this way someone else can try to do a proper translation). You can share the “ger.php” file with us after you do the translation and we will include it in the plugin (we don’t get very many German customers).

Well as I started the translation I did it with my project in mind. So I got a lot of funny and ungeneric phrases.
