Hallo,
after translation the english text into german and uploading via FTP to the w2member plug-in WordPress did not start.
The original english version runs perfect. What happens?

It is likely that you have introduced empty spaces in the file which is causing the PHP errors you are seeing.
1) Did you upload the file using an FTP program? If you did then you needed to make sure that the upload happens in binary mode (otherwise files can get distorted and cause that error).
2) Did you edit the file using a UTF-8 compatible text editor? If you don’t then the file can get corrupted and you will see that error. Please check the “Note for Non-English Language Users” section from the following post which will explain this more:
