Form builder v1.6
WP eMember v8.7.8
Having a bit of a problem.
My site has two registration pages for two different levels. Instructors and Free.
The instructor registration requires a lot of information to be displayed on their profiles.
The free registration only requires the most basic information with no displayed profile.
Using the custom fields option, I have put all the necessary things required for the instructors. However, I noticed that the free registration page also had the instructor fields, which wasn’t surprising. Since the free profiles will not be displayed, is there a way to omit the custom fields from the registration form and only have them on the edit profile page?
I also have the form builder add on, which I did try to use. I made the respective registration forms, however, regardless of the the code I put on the respective pages, it always said the level being registered for was the free level.
I’ve read through all the documentation and can’t figure it out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Then check the following documentation:
You should be good after that.
April 5, 2014 at 9:58 am #62103MapleLionMemberYes, as I said, I have read all supporting documentation and watched the videos.
I have two free membership levels. “Free” and “Instructor”. “[wp_eMember_registration_form_for level=3]” and “[wp_eMember_registration_form_for level=4]” have been placed on the appropriate pages.
Only “Instructor” profiles are publicly displayed using “eMember Profile Extended Addon v1.7”. Additional fields have been added to “Instructor” profiles via “Custom Fields”. The “Instructor” level only really has the “Edit Profile” option made available. These custom fields appear on both the “Registration” and “Edit Profile” pages, which I understand.
Here is the problem. The “Custom Fields” are completely irrelevant to the “Free” level. Furthermore, the registration page form for the “Free” level will need to be in Japanese. Is there a way to omit the “Custom Fields” from both registration pages?
If this is not possible, I also have “Form builder v1.6”. However, when activated, “Form builder v1.6” only allows for “Free” registration. When I have done a test registration from the “Instructor” registration page, the membership level was “Free” and not the intended “Instructor”. I have made the necessary forms for each membership level. The value for the “Free” level “Membership Value” is set to “3” and the value for the “Instructor” level “Membership Value” is set to “4”, as they should be. Does “Form builder v1.6” use a special shortcode? Is it possible that one of my settings is causing a problem?
Thanks in advance.

Create a Registration Form for a Particular Membership Level
April 6, 2014 at 12:58 pm #62104adminKeymasterI have sent you an updated copy of the form builder addon. This updated version will allow you to hide particular fields from the registration from and/or edit profile form. Let me know how it goes after that.
