emember – extend member login time

A member of my site asked:

“is there anything you can do to keep me logged in for longer at the site? I’m always having to log back in and wish I didn’t!”

Is there anything I can do to help him?

You can tell the user to use the “remember me” checkbox when he logs in (that will remember the login for longer).

Are you using the “Logout the Member After XX Minute” option? If you are then change the settings value for that field to a long time.

Do you know how long he is referring to when he says “longer”?

He’s suggesting ‘more than 24hrs’.

If the user checks the “remember me” option, it will remember the log in for more than 24 hours.
