eMember v.8.5.5 and WP 3.5.1
I have checked the box for email confirmation when registering for a free membership. The email is sent but the email link for the new member to complete registration redirects to error 404. I have removed the specified page for redirect after registration in case it was interferring. I have deactivated all other plugins except Askimet and it made no difference. I use Cloudflare as a CDN but have purged the cache. There is no problem with the registration, and the emails are received. It is the link in the email to complete the registration and allow the user to select a username and password that is missing from the system and resulting in the error. I have tried both method 1 and method 2 (and removing the checkmark in settings with method 2) and both fail at the same point. I would appreciate any help at this point. February 9, 2013 at 11:35 pm #53753adminKeymasterA 404 Error usually means you entered the wrong URL value in the configuration. In this case you most likely entered the wrong URL in the “Registration Page URL” field. What value do you have in this field?
Please share the link that you get in the email too (the link that doesn’t work). This will help me see what error it gives and allow me to give you more details.
February 10, 2013 at 12:12 am #53754silvergenesMemberYou were absolutely right. I went over that page so many times and still missed it. It was missing 1104aw/ at the end of the url for the registration page. Thank you so much for the quick reply and I’ll know better what to look for if I have a glitch again. Everything is working properly now.

Which page should we be checking for the correct Registration Page URL?
August 4, 2014 at 11:22 pm #53756adminKeymasterLooks like you deleted the following page or done something else to that page to make it inaccessible?

Have a look at the following documentation and correct your registration page:
