a) What part of the product isn’t working?
In registration form, ALL the required fields (exception for username, email and password) can be empty and it is not blocking the account creation and thus the registration. There is an alert but no problem if the client wants to register without filling-in. It directly goes to “after login/registration redirection” page.
b) What are you trying to achieve?
I need my clients to absolutely confirm several required fields BEFORE the account creation. But at the moment it is not possible. You can see at the end of my registration form that there is a checkbox about a French law* (required field) + term and conditions** (required field). If there are not selected and checked, the registration is done anyway.
I must add that the translation of Terms and conditions is not “Termes et conditions” in French, but “Conditions générales de vente”. It could be interesting to correct.
c) What causes the error to show up?
I do not know, it is a bug because in the parameters, the checkbox of my required custom field is well selected. The option “required” is validated and so should be considered during the registration step.
d) What version of the plugin are you using?
the latest I guess (I bought last week)
e) Provide a link to the exact page where the problem is seen
[marymann.fr/e-boutique/formulaire-enregistrement-client/]
f) Which product you are using (example: eStore, WP Affiliate Platform, eMember, PDF Stamper etc…)? eMember
g) Did you modify the plugin code? NO

May 19, 2018 at 12:33 am #77854adminKeymasterThis happens when you have another plugin or theme on the site that is adding JavaScript errors on your page. Javascript errors cause other JavaScript to not work correctly. I just checked your site and I can see that you have some errors that you need to fix. After that the registration form will start to work correctly.
Please read the following post which will help you see the errors I am talking about so you can fix it:

Thank you but…
We fixed the problem and for your information and in order to help further French clients, the source of the problem was coming from using special letters or symbols due to French language (ex: é à) and comas or apostrophe or /. Since we suppressed all of them, it worked correctly.
This text is in the text field linked to a checkbox. Before, we tried to bypass the problem, copying the Law text alone in a field text and separate it from the check box. But then the problem is that the available space to see the text of a long sentence, is not big enough once we see it on the subscription page…
And what about the translation problem please?
“I must add that the translation of Terms and conditions is not “Termes et conditions” in French, but “Conditions générales de vente”. It could be interesting to correct.”
Thank you,
Regards
Maryanne

If you send me the updated translation file after you update it, I will add it to the plugin.
