Tagged: Facebook Login, login, social, wp membership
Hey guys,
I just recently purchased eMember after debating it for a long time having previously bought eStore a few months ago. I’m still getting everything set up, but one of the functions I’ve just implemented before the eMember install is the ability to login and register with my site via social network (using the Social Login aka OneAll plugin). I saw that you have an option to register a WP member and eM member at the same time, and I checked that in both place. The WP user logs on successfully, however the eM user does not. One reason I’d suspect is that the Social Login plugin doesn’t process using the normal WP login form…still, I should think it shouldn’t matter since some kind of WP User session should exist right? To verify that I do have a sync, I am able to delete the eM user and WP user at the same time, and I’ve verified that WP user is logged in by disabling the eM plugin. I used the default comment system to see if I’m able to comment. When the eM plugin is disabled, I am able to comment, but when on, I am now.
I’m not sure how to go about fixing this. Any help on this would be great.
The login operation in eMember is done via WordPress’s hook (when you use that feature). So the other plugin needs to do the login operation correctly using WordPress’s recommended function.
Can you please share a link to the plugin’s page that you are using so I can see if it is using the proper function to do the login operation?
Certainly

…and the base site regarding more information with the API

Thanks again!
UPDATE:
Found it:
Troubleshooting 3.1 is where it’s referenced.
Just to verify… you have this sorted out now?
Sorry, no not yet.
I have asked a question to the devleoper of that plugin:
