eMember – editing profile field error

    Hello,

    I have a strange issue, when the registered member goes in “Member profile” for editing personnal information.

    The field “Email” shows the login, and even if he enters his email address and save … when he goes back to Member Profile, it’s again the “login” showed in the Email field.

    If I remove the email field from the form, the login is showing in the “last name”.

    Here are the Edit Profile form fields :

    – First Name

    – Last Name

    – Email

    – Password

    – Country

    My eMember version : v8.8.8

    Another strange thing, when I refresh the Edit Profile page I see the e-mail address in the field Email, and after it’s replaced by the login …

    I don’t know how to correct that.

    Is your browser auto-filling the fields? can you please create a test member account then share the login credentials of this test member so I can check the behavior?

    Everything in the profile page looks correct to me. I think this is specific to your browser. Is your browser auto-filling fields for you? What browser are you using? Did you try clearing cache?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your support, it was the auto-filling in Safari.

    Everything is ok now
