I have 2 courses (for now) which I would like to drip feed. When customer buys one of the courses he should get that course drip fed one module per week (for as many weeks as there are modules).
At some later date when that same customer buys the other course, he should be drip fed that course one module per week from the day he bought that other course. Later, when I add more courses I want the same to apply to them.
How can I do that? (Preferably automatically. Or manually if not possible automatically)
Also, if the same customer/user buys the other course before the first finishes dripping (each course has 5 modules), how would I drip both courses at the same time? (let’s say customer/user bought the second course 10 days after he bought the first one).
October 3, 2018 at 4:37 am #78612wzpModeratorYou are asking if “multiple, concurrent drips” are supported?
October 3, 2018 at 7:52 am #78613healerMemberYes, that’s one question – are “multiple concurrent drips supported”?. If yes, how to do that?
Second, implied question from my description (I should have been more clear, sorry) is: Is it possible to drip feed the course from the time customer bought the course and not from the time customer registered (which happened when he bought the first course)? Can this be done automatically when customer buys and how? Can it be done some other way (perhaps manually)?
October 4, 2018 at 2:43 am #78614adminKeymasterThe auto-upgrade feature uses the member’s “Auto Upgrade Starts” date value to calculate when the member’s account should be upgraded to the next level. By default, the “Auto Upgrade Starts” date value is set to the day the member creates the account. You can manually edit a member’s account and change that value to tweak when you want someone’s sequence to start.
October 5, 2018 at 11:37 pm #78615healerMemberThank you for the answer. But, does that mean that if I edit the “Auto Upgrade Starts” field manually, one user can have multiple drips for different courses at the same time (multiple concurrent drips)?
October 7, 2018 at 4:41 am #78616adminKeymasterNo, there is never any concurrent drips for one user. It is a linear process. A member is only every upgraded from one level to another based on the settings specified in your auto-upgrade settings menu.
The plugin does what is explained in the following documentation as far as the auto-upgrade feature is concerned:
