Is there any way of formatting the date in the eMember Dashboard and Manage Members screens?
Can eMember perhaps pick up the WordPress preferences? e.g. I have selected 05 Nov 2012 in lieu of the MySql format yyyy-mm-dd.
When eMember shows the date to your members, it will show it in that nice format (05 Nov 2012). However, to store the data in the database it needs to use the MySQL date format.
I’m referring to what we see in the eMember plugin screens
I don’t see the nicely formatted dates there.

Oh you mean inside the WP dashboard. I meant, dates that are visible to your members. We will look into it.
Yes, inside the eMember Dashboard and Manage Members screens.
We have several non-techie administrators who struggle reading those MySql date formats.
We have updated the date format display in the manage members table.
Thanks. I’ve installed 8.3.5.
However I’m now seeing mixed date formatting (Expiry Date differs to Subscriptions Starts).

Looks odd. Is that how it’s supposed to look or am I missing a setting somewhere?
How do I change the formatting or is it hardwired?
Hello johnw1965,
thanks for finding this out. in next update release, both fields will follow wp date format setting.
Is there a way to change the format from within the member view (for example ‘Member Since’ or ‘Subscription Starts’), so that the day appears before the month (European style).
For example: 2014-24-02 instead of 2014-02-24
Thanks!
No, it can’t be changed for that admin page. You will always pick the date from a calendar so that shouldn’t matter anyway. Your members will see the date correctly in the front end.
