Hi, I am not sure if what I want is possible with your plugin but it ticks all my other boxes, so i am really hoping that I am just missing something obvious. I have bought the eMember and eStore plugin to sell subscriptions online training videos.
I am trying to create a main member (ie: a company) and then have sub members attached to that member (company). For example: a company will register and they choose a Bronze membership which allows them to have 10 users (members) accessing the video content. They are then limited to that number of users. All user’s will be able to access all videos but the membership level is just determined by how many of those members can login and view the videos.
I am unsure if this is even the best way to approach it, but it is paid for content and I don’t want the links to be simply shared.
Hope this makes sense and you can offer some advice.
Many Thanks
November 17, 2016 at 11:53 pm #74634adminKeymasterWe don’t have any option to do sub members. Each member account has one or more membership level attached to the profile.
You can allow that company account can be shared by other users. You can use the following option so the login is restricted to lets say 10 different logins:
Login Restriction by IP Address
November 21, 2016 at 10:37 am #74635thandiinlondonMemberHi
Can you set a Login Restriction by IP Address per product? I can only see it in the WpEmember general settings. If I set it in the WpEmember general settings, then it will affect all the products.
I want to allow as certain number of users (eg 10) at a particular IP address to be able to access a library of video content in a private YouTube or Vimeo account .
How is this possible?
November 21, 2016 at 12:58 pm #74636wzpModeratorYou might want to rethink that kind of feature. Unless you require that your members have dedicated Internet access, with static IP addresses; they will be assigned a different dynamic IP address by their ISP; each time their routers or devices connect to the Internet. Most people, who use a cable TV company as their ISP, don’t notice this because it only occurs when their cable modem needs to be reset. And if you use a noble device to connect to the Internet, your IP address will change as you travel from one cell to another; in a large metropolitan area.
November 22, 2016 at 12:32 pm #74637thandiinlondonMemberI am stuck now. I need to find another way to allow a company to register and give their users access, if they just share the link there is no way I can stop them sharing with more users than their membership stipulates.
Let me explain, I am planning on selling a Bronze Membership – allowing up to 10 users access to a library of video content, Silver Membership – allowing up to 25 uses etc.
IP address limiting seems out of the question could you limit based on email domain name or could users belong to groups? How could I do this?

You would have the ability to control how many times a particular link can be used, and how many days a link is valid. And the APR functionality would limit the number of minutes a link is valid, once clicked.
