eMember – content protection does not work

Can content protection conflict with a theme? Turning protection on has no effect! I have tested on a separate domain to check I have settings right and it works fine.

I have turned off all plugins except eMember and eStore but protection just does not happen. Also tried specific page lockdown and domain level lockdown but the site remains wide open! Just tried activating default twenty eleven theme and still protection doesn’t work on that domain…?

Any ideas. I’m new to eMember, am I missing something simple?

Thanks, I have checked through carefully but nothing set wrong. However, this one of a number of difficulties I am having with the theme I have been using and have decided to abandon it! Been testing out 2 or 3 different themes on a completely fresh wordpress install and database and this problem has gone away.
