Tagged: JavaScript conflict, Theme conflict
Hello,
I have been dealing with the support people for the theme I purchased. Basically the theme is not displaying properly when the WP eMember plugin is active. They suggest that eMember is causing issues with javascript functions in the theme. They are not able to help me any further and have no suggestions as to how this might be resolved. Ideally I would like to keep using the theme with eMember, but realize that I might need to find another theme. Your documentation does say that the plugin is very compatible with almost any theme so I thought you might have some insight. I am building a public site with a members-only side.
1. is there anything you or I can do to resolve this conflict (is this something you have run into before)?
2. should I consider a 2 install approach with a basic theme on the members side?
3. are there theme developers that you highly recommend?
Any and all help or insights would be greatly appreciated as I am up against a deadline and have spent days and days on theme support already.
Thank you.
Please determine if this situation applies to you:
None of our plugins have any Javascript errors. So it is unlikely that our plugin will do this.
The following post will help you figure out which item on your site has the JavaScript error:

As soon as the JS error is fixed, the problem will go away.
Thank you. I have created a separate install for the members site with a simpler theme.
