Hi,
Investigating on why the “Remember me” option was not working on our installation, we realized that it was actually using a MD5 hash of the user credentials stored in a cookie, which means it would actually interfer with the option “Disable Simultaneous Member Login”. You can’t have the credentials stored in a cookie and at the same time logout a user based on the last login timestamp. So logically, when checking “Disable Simultaneous Member Login”, the “Remember me” option suddenly stops working.
This is why I suggest that when the user checks the “Disable Simultaneous Member Login” option, you automatically disable the “Remember me” option (and particularly that you do not display it in the login form), considering both are mutually exclusive.
This is a wish for future releases ! Thank you!
Hi, We will add this enhancement in the next release.
