eMember change Login menu item to Logout?

Hi,

I’m brand new to eMember and still trying to sort out my first site with it. I’ve set up my webpage so that the main menu has a link to a “Login” page. Is it possible to change that main menu link to say “Logout” while a user is logged in? It doesn’t make sense to have both nor does it to have a Login menu item while a user is already logged in. Any way to change this?

You can also wrap your login link inside a bit of custom code so it can dynamically say “login” or “logout” based on the member’s login status (so it will login when a visitor is not logged in, it will say logout when a member is logged in). This document has example codes that will explain more:

One bit of feedback from a new customer, it seems that you have a lot of really good information on your website but it’s nearly impossible to find. Looked around the documentation but didn’t find any links to the two articles you both posted. A full list of articles and the ability to search the docs would sure be helpful.

Also, I wasn’t able to search the forums for answers to questions I had and wasn’t able to register on the forums until after I bought the product. I’m sure you’ve set this up to block spammers but it would have been very helpful to be able to find answers to my own questions rather than via emails to your sales dept. Since we’re on opposite sides of the planet that meant waiting a day to find information that I probably could have found myself.

Just my 2 cents / euros worth. Otherwise your product seems to work as advertised and you’ve responded to all my emails. That gets high marks in my book. Thanks!
