Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eMember › eMember – calculating payment depending on month joined?
Hello, I am running the latest version of WordPress and the latest version of eMember.
I would like to know if there is any way to set up one of the following situations with eMember alone OR with a combination of eMember and eStore.
1. Have the program calculate the amount owed for the membership depending on the month someone joins and charge that amount when the person pays. For example. OUr membershp year begins in June, so if they join in June, the full membership amount is $24. If they join in July, they only need to pay $22, August would be $20 and so on.
2. OR, is there a way I can just have the customer enter the amount they owe for the membership? That way, I can include a chart on the payment page so people can find out how much they owe and fill in the amount themselves.
Thank you for any help you can offer.

It will definitely be easier to use the “Pay a Custom Amount” feature of the eStore plugin. Documentation below:

You can put your payment chart/guideline and a the payment button on a page. Then send the user to that page so they can pay.
OK, thank you.
