Is it possible to have the visitors signing up to my aweber mailing list to also be included in the WP eMember list? I have the aweber (eMember to Aweber) API working but was wondering if it can work in both directions (Aweber to eMember).
The reason I ask is, I have an awesome conversion rate on the aweber facebook sign-up form and do not want to just use the WP eMember sign-up form alone.
Do you create WP users when this other AWeber form is submitted?
Very good question. I will have to check that out.
Apparently not. I contacted aweber, they said that aweber did not have that capability.
I was also hoping for this capability. With Digital Access Pass, they were able to make it work via the Aweber Success Page.I received tons of new members this way via my Aweber form. Not techy enough to know how they did it, but hoping it’s possible with eMember in a future update.
We have created a script for eMember to do that also. It needs some testing though. If you are interested to test it, use the contact form on the site to get in touch.
I am very interested. I submitted my info via the contact form.
I am also looking at the WP Affiliate AWeber Opt-in Form Submission Tracking addon http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/wp-affiliate-aweber-opt-form-submission-tracking-894. Will the new script you mentioned eliminate the need for the above linked addon? Meaning that if an affiliate brings a user who signs up via the Aweber form, will eMember add this user to the appropriate membership level and WP Affiliate will assign the user as a new lead to the affiliate? Or will I still need both the new script and the addon?
Hope that made sense. Thanks!
