Hi, I have used the auto upgrade feature in emember to set one day intervals for the next six lessons in a course. eg. lesson 2 is available on the second day, lesson 3 is on available on the third day and so on.

I also used the protected content shortcodes on the member-home page where the links to the lessons are located. The shortcode for the second and third lesson’s are:

    [emember_protected for=7 custom_msg=’Lesson 2 will be available soon!’]

    Lesson 2 content goes here

    [/emember_protected]

    [emember_protected for=8 custom_msg=’Lesson 3 will be available soon!’]

    Lesson 3 content goes here

    [/emember_protected]

Each level is set to upgrade after one day.

The first lesson is still available in the members area but I’m still waiting for the second lesson to be available and it’s more than a week since I set the auto upgrade feature up.

Since I didn’t have access to the content I went into the emember admin members section and edited my membership and had to manually tick the boxes for each new level. eg. level 2, level 3 and so on.

Once I had done this and then visited my members home page the protected labels had disappeared and the content was available.

Does that mean that the only way to make this kind of auto upgrade content available to members by dripping content is to manually upgrade them on their members information page in the admin of eMember?

Can you help me with this please?

    Thanks.

Your setup is wrong somewhere. First, lets make sure the auto upgrade setup is correct and your member’s access levels are being upgraded automatically.

I am guessing you have setup the auto upgrade using the following documentation:

    https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/how-to-use-auto-upgrade-feature-to-drip-content-194

Is their membership level getting changed/upgraded to the correct level after the correct number of days?

    I fixed the issue.

I had each level upgrading to itself instead

    of to the next level.

    It works fine now.
