I have the following issue: there are 3 wp-Users as admin. Writing an article with protection means, that I can’t see the preview. I checked the tickbox “Automatically log into eMember” but there’s something missing. I won’t create additional users in emember and I won’t check-in manually twice to write or repolish an article. The other way round: “Automatically Create WordPress User” doesn’t make sense either, because it won’t be helpful to have another 3 wp-users with different usernames. I only bought and installes emember a week ago.
How to fix this?
The simplest solution is to not apply protection until you are ready to publish. Remember, no one can see the article until you publish it so no need to apply protection while you are writing it. Apply the protection just before hitting the publish button and that solves the issue.
Here is another alternative to the above:
Import your WP Admin user into eMember. Import this user into an ultimate all access membership level. You can import a WP user this from the following area of eMember:
WP eMember -> Members -> Import WP Users
Now, given you have checked the “Automatically log into eMember” checkbox, it will do the job. When you are logged into your admin account you are also logged in eMember with that all access membership level that has access to everything.
Here is another alternative:
Create an eMember account for you with a membership level that has access to everything. Now log into this account manually when you log into WP and you will be able to see all the protected content.
Thank you!
The 2nd option was the appropriate. The 1st on couldn’t be used, because pages are partially ready and online and will be filled with additional content over months.
