eMember: Adding additional membership levels to account

Greetings,

The shortcode “wp_eMember_upgrade_membership_level_to” is incredibly close to what I want to accomplish. Is there a way to modify this so that it only adds additional membership levels to the account instead of changing the primary level of the user to the new level?

All levels are free, so no Paypal or anything like that is involved.

If you are using the additional membership level feature then it moves the current primary level to the additional level and makes the new level to the primary level. So the user will end up with both levels in his/her profile. It always makes the new level the primary level to keep the behavior consistent with normal upgrades.
