eMember – Add Field to Member Page?

We have users that still register and pay their membership dues via snail mail and paper check. We will manually enter those users as members, but need a way to track that they have paid their dues. Is it possible to add a field on the Members page that could be a checkbox or similar that we can use to track manual payments?
