Hi Guys,
I’m using eMember 7.5.2 with Affiliate Platform 9.9.1 and eStore 5.2.8 on a shared host at 1&1.
I recently upgraded all three, and when I tried to create a new membership level in eMember => Memebership Levels => add new, when I “submit” I get the following eMember error:
“Membership Level “xxx” couldn’t be created due to error.”
I tried to deactivate some other plug-ins (e.g., Simple Press 4.51), but still get the same error message.
I’m also running: WordPress Version: WordPress 3.3, MySQL 5.0.91, PHP 5.2.17
Any help is appreciated!

January 3, 2012 at 9:47 pm #40299PeterMemberHi,
Let’s try the simplest check first – can you please de-activate and then re-activate the eMember plugin and see if that resolves the problem.
January 3, 2012 at 11:16 pm #40300PaulfonzoMemberHi Peter,
I did that, and still got the same error message. BTW, I use a custom CSS style sheet from back around version 6.0, possibly a little earlier, that I back up and copy over anything new. This caused a recent problem in the 7.5.2 upgrade with the password reset showing at the bottom of every page until I added a single line of CSS code to make it disappear. Don’t know if that helps?

January 4, 2012 at 5:56 am #40301adminKeymasterThis usually happens when the database column gets out of sync during an upgrade (happens if you don’t deactivate and reactivate the plugin during upgrade). It should be easy to solve… do exactly the following:
1. Deactivate and delete the currently installed version of the plugin(s).
You won’t lose any settings or other data (product, member, affiliate etc.) that you have already configured in the plugin.
2. Download a fresh build of the plugin(s) from here (it is important that you download a new build):

3. Update the plugin following the appropriate update instruction for the plugin in question:

Thanks!
