emails not being sent to free members to verify their email address and proceed

I am simply setting up free membership with email verification and the registration is working but no verification emails are being sent by the system.

The members are being added but have no way to log in as they do not get to the full registration page because they can not confirm their email.

Can you help please

Please enable the debug option in the plugin. Then you will be able to see if the plugin is sending the email or not. After that the following post will be helpful:
