Tagged: Download Not Working
I’m using WP eStore.
Customer purchased downloadable product.
Email sent to customer with links.
The final link (Part five) has a link that doesn’t work.
– When you click on the link, it adds “%3C/p%3E” to the end of the URL, which causes an error message.
– If you cut-n-paste the link from the email, the download will work.
The email client is adding that extra characters for some reason. Go to eStore settings and enable the shorten URL feature. Does it work better after the change?
I had a look at your site. The links are generating fine and when I email them to myself they are working and there is no extra code I use Gmail as my email client.
This would mean it is the email client the person is using to view their email is causing this issue.
I also noticed you have spaces in your links that can cause issues sometimes. It is good idea to fix that if you can. Please see this checklist as it will explain how to fix this issue:

Thanks Admin and Ivy. I did switch to the shorten URL. And I did generate a new list and it worked fine. Issue must have been with their email server.
Will address the spaces immediately.
