    In the Email Notifications of Photo Seller plugin, after saving, Japanese text changes to strange characters.

    However, in the Payment Gateway settings, the Japanese text appears completely normal. I tested by copying the same text from the Payment Gateway into Email Notifications but same problem.

    Please help. Thank you.

    The text changes when you save it in the Buyer Email Body settings field? Can you give me a sample Japanese text so I can test with it?

    To be exact, when I first put the text in any of the Email Notifications, it appears fine. When I save, go to another tab, and come back, all the Japanese characters appear strange. However, this does not happen with Japanese text in the Payment Gateway text fields.

    Here is the text for the buyer email:

    Last question (I hope), I want to sell matte or glossy finishes. Is there a way to add a selection of matte or glossy without having to duplicate all the items in the price list (and add a line of text to explain the difference)?

    Can you provide some examples of exactly what you want to offer?

    For example:

    Large print (glossy or matte finish)

    Small print (glossy or matte finish)

    etc

    The price list has around 15 products. The only way I can think of doing it is to offer two versions of each print. This would bring the number of products up to 30 which seems too many.

    Seems like a better solution would be to have a checkbox somewhere for ‘glossy’ or ‘matte’. Could be anywhere, like at the checkout. Any ideas?

    Much appreciated.

    By the way, The plugin is limiting image upload to 2MB, but I want to sell larger images. Is this not possible?

    The plugin is limiting image upload to 2MB

    It’s not the plugin – it’s your wordpress configuration doing that. There are ways to increase this – google it and you will find the answer.

    oops sorry missed that part of your question.

    In summary, it’s not as easy as it may sound to implement this option which you describe.

    I agree it sounds like a good idea, but considering the way the current architecture is built and how the price lists and galleries are connected, it would mean increasing the complexity of this architecture when adding such a feature.

    Due to the number of higher priority items on our TODO list and also the time it would take to implement this we might have to put it down as a “maybe” and something which we could possibly add in the future.

    ps: of course if we get overwhelming requests for something, this can also bump up the priority of features if we agree that they are reasonable.
