Is there a way to change the header in the emails eStore sends me for manual purchases? (that doesn’t involve editing a php file every time I upgrade.)
Can you please copy and paste the header that you are talking about?
When I make a manual sale, the subject for the notification email generated by estore is:
Product sale notification
These require me to contact the buyer and make payment arrangements.
When I make a paypal sale, by far the majority of sales, the subject for the notification email is:
notification of product sale
I have my email program separate them now but got into some trouble at one point because I didn’t know how to recognize the manual sales. Now…I’m a bit dyslexic and would just like to have the manual sale subject include the word manual. It’s a psychological thing. If there’s a way to do this from the settings, I looked right past it.
In all honesty, I searched every css file I could find and I can’t find the phrases in question.
It w/b nice to have all the eStore emails customizable from Settings…in all your copious spare time! But I know there are far more important problems, so if I could just know the css file to change and where it’s hidden (I’m using the basic editor built into the WP plugin section of the dashboard. If there’s a better one, I’m all ears!)
I will add a new option in the manual checkout settings section so you can specify a custom “Sale Notification Email Subject” for manual/offline checkout. I will have something ready by tomorrow.
You all are amazing. Time for another donation. Thanks so much!
I have released a new build which should allow you to do this. Get a new build from here then specify the email subject for the manual checkout in the manual checkout settings of eStore:
Very cool! Thanks!
