Email Braodcast – Send to Selected Individuals Issue

I’ve discovered a glitch in the Email Broadcast addon when creating an email and selecting to send it to selected individuals. Here’s my situation:

When I click on the option to send an email to a list of selected individuals, my list of members is 2 pages long. I select 4 people on page 1, then advance to page 2 and select 5 people from that page. I expect to have a list of 9 people to send the email to. However, I found that the first 4 people I selected on page 1 are not in the final selected list.

Conversely, if I first select 5 people from page 2, then go back to page 1 and select 4 more, the 5 people selected from page 2 are wiped out.

It seems if you have to select a list a members from multiple pages, only the last page you select from makes it in the final list to send to.

Is this a known problem? To get around this, I have to create a new email for every page of members I want to select from. Not ideal, although we would not use this feature very often. Right now I’m using it for testing.

We shall investigate it. In the meantime, because you know of the issue, are you able to work around it? For instance, by composing the message in Notepad and then pasting/sending the message multiple times, for as many pages of members that you have?

Yes, we can easily work around it. We are in the process of building out our site and I’m using this feature now to just run some test emails to select members of our website team. Once we go live, we’ll mainly use the option of sending emails to all active members.
