Have you checked the eMember email settings and made sure that the following tag is present?
Also have you specified the registration URL in the “WP eMember settings -> Pages /Forms Settings -> Registration Page” field of the eMember plugin?November 8, 2013 at 12:26 am #58777
Yes, I have checked both of these and they are set correctly.November 8, 2013 at 2:38 am #58778
You can customize the text of the email from the following settings area:
WP eMember Settings -> Email Settings
Regarding the registration completion link in the email. There are 3 emails that your users will receive after the payment so lets make sure we are getting all those.
1) The normal paypal receipt that paypal sends to the buyer
2) The standard eStore’s purchase confirmation email
3) An email prompting them to complete the membership registration (this is the email that will contain the unique link).
Can you please verify that you are getting all of the above 3 emails?November 8, 2013 at 2:52 am #58779
I am receiving the email from Paypal stating the subscriptions is purchased and the one saying the reoccurring payments is set up.And I get one that says please click here to register but when I click link it takes me back to the page that says there is no free membership please click here to join us and when I click there I go back to the purchasing page.November 8, 2013 at 4:35 am #58780
okay good, that means all the emails and stuff is working correctly. You just have a little bit of a setup issue with your registration page. Share the unique URL that you received after the payment so I can take a look at it.November 8, 2013 at 2:59 pm #58781
I would like to say a quick thank you for your prompt replies and all your help with this issue.
I know wordpress but not well and this is my first time using either of these plug ins.
This is the link that the plugin created [http://www.members.yourvirtualassistants.net/join-us/registration/]
and that is also the page you get sent to after purchasing and clicking the link in email.November 8, 2013 at 11:06 pm #58782wpCommerceModerator
Hi, can you please create a different page (example: Thank You page) and specify the URL in the
Return URLfield of WP eStore General Settings? More information on it here:November 8, 2013 at 11:34 pm #58783
Some setup steps is definitely missing. You should be getting a link like the following after the payment:
Looks like you are not getting that, I have sent you an email to get access to the site so I can check it.November 11, 2013 at 4:06 pm #58784
Sorry for the delay but we did update of wordpress and our theme framework and it blew out the whole site.
They are saying it is the membership plug in, and when you remove it the site does work.
I am including all the log ins for you.

Please reply to my email (don’t post admin login details here).November 14, 2013 at 2:40 am #58786
Turns out that you haven’t completed the integration steps. You are completely missing step 2 that is explained in the estore and emember integration documentation here:
Can you please complete that step and let me know after that? What the video tutorial on that page (it shows you exactly what to do with the eStore product to integrate it with eMember).
I still haven’t gotten any email from you. Remember I know you by only ONE email addresss which is the following (you used that email to make the purchase):
You must communicate with us using your email address that you used to make the purchase. Otherwise our system won’t recognize you (we can’t give support to anyone who email us).November 14, 2013 at 6:16 pm #58787
That worked perfectly.I can purchase and receive all the email including the email with the link to registration page.
I just have one more question.
After they purchase is there a way to change the page they are redirected to after the Paypal purchase goes through?November 14, 2013 at 10:21 pm #58788
Yes, you can set a URL for the “Thank you” page in eStore settings. Go to eStore settings and set the thank you page URL in the “Return URL” field.November 18, 2013 at 9:13 pm #58789
Thank you that worked perfectly.
I am having an issue being able to protect content in my posts.
I have to levels Gold and Platinum.
I want gold to only be able to see gold post.
But Platinum to see all.
The Platinum page when I click comes back with message you can not access but I can then click on the categories and all posts show does not matter if I am logged in as Gold or Platinum.
