Problem:
Whenever I attempt to edit a user (all my users are imported using emembers built in import function) the values in the user profile (name, email, etc) change.
The profile values used are from the first and only user I created prior to using the import function.
How do I stop this from happening every time I want to modify an existing user?
Troubleshooting:
I have saved permalinks, deactivated and reactiveated, and re-saved permalinks.
This is strange. The plugin doesn’t have any capability to do this. So there is likely a browser’s auto-fill or caching type issue happening.
Is the browser auto-filling the form fields for you and then when you save it is taking those values? Just before you hit the save button, can you scroll up to see what values the name and email fields have? Is it happening when you edit from the admin side or from the profile edit page?
Auto-fill was the answer. Thank you.
