Hi folks,
I want to switch a few things around on the membership page (Welcome Page) once a member is logged in. What file do I modify? I’ve looked through a few of them and can’t find what I’m looking for. What I’m trying to do is move the link to the Welcome Page above the member info and leave the logout link below that info.
October 5, 2013 at 1:03 am #58135adminKeymasterThe welcome page is not something eMember creates. It is basically a WordPress page that you create and then you tell eMember to send members to that page when they log in. You specify the URL of the welcome page in the “After Login Page” field.
With that said, how did you create this welcome page in the first place?

Here is what you do:
1) Create a WordPress page called “Welcome” or something similar. Add your welcome message in that page.
2) Take note of the URL of this welcome page that you just created.
3) Go to eMember settings and check the “Enable After login Redirection” field.
4) Go to “Pages/Forms Settings” menu and add the URL of your welcome page in the “After Login Page” field.
Now, your members will go to the login page to log into the site. As soon as they log in, the plugin will redirect them to the welcome page that you created. You can customize this welcome page however you want to.
October 8, 2013 at 5:25 pm #58138dan11798MemberHello, I already have that welcome page made. What I am trying to do, is customize a page called “client area” which they access after they have already logged in and navigated away from their welcome page. This page is meant to display their account info and provide them with a way to get back to their welcome page. So, I created a Client Area page and put this shortcode on it: [wp_eMember_login]. A link to the welcome page is below all the account info. What I want to do is move that welcome link up to the top and above the account information. I want “Summary Page” above “You are logged in as Bioclinica”
October 9, 2013 at 1:02 am #58139adminKeymasterSimply edit this client area page then enter that summary page link above the shortcode. Remember that you can add other info and links to that page above or below the shortcode you are using in that page.
So edit that page in WordPress and make it have the following structure:
Link to summary page
[wp_eMember_login] -
