In the authorize.net form after the check out page, there are a few input fields that i would like to remove as we do not need them and would simply confuse our customers. where can i find the documentation to remove it?

I am guessing you are using the standard Authorize.net checkout (They call it the SIM integration). In this integration your customer is sent to a checkout page on Authorize.net site.

They don’t let you customize anything on that page via the plugin. As it is their checkout page, you maybe able to change a few things from your authorize.net account (not the plugin).

Authorize.net also offers ANOTHER integration called AIM (Advanced Integration Method) where your customer stays on your site and does the checkout. We offer that checkout solution in our payment gateway bundle addon:
