I initially set up two products in order to learn how to use this plugin. The two items were given the designation Product ID 1 and Product ID 2. I then made up a Word document and assigned product names and the corresponding ID numbers ( I have over 400 products for sale).
I then decided that I did not need thumbnail images assigned to each product and then deleted the two products to start over. I created a new product and it did not come up with Product ID 1, but Product ID 3. It created the new product but moved onto the next ID number.
Question: Can I reset the product ID number back to zero? (or else completely re-do my Word document). I have tried un-installing and then re-installing the plugin, but it is always the same. I understand the MySQL problem, but should not a un-install and then re-install reset everything to zero?
The reason is because, the Product ID numbers are really the MySQL table indice numbers. Uninstalling the plugin doesn’t do anything, because the tables are still there. Under the Admin Functions, click the “Remove All eStore Database Tables” button. Then deactivate, and reactivate the plugin.
It worked perfectly. Thank You so much!!
