I have followed the step by step instructions on the video to set up e-store. I checked the box to accept paypal per the video instructions and followed every other step by step instruction and then tried to run test transaction. As far as I can tell, I have done what the video said to do. But once I run a test I get this response from Paypal: “Things don’t appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later.” Am I missing something?

Do I need to input API credentials somewhere and secret key? How about Sandbox client ID and secret key? I am not a developer and the only reason I know about those is because some “answer” I followed directed me to Simple Cart and it asked for all of that. Do I need Simple Cart to make this WP e store paid plugin finalize a sale through Paypal? I thought this was a super simple plugin.

Side note: After watching the video a second time, I did open a personal Paypal account to see if that was the issue since it cannot go through the business account to finalize the tranaction. I still got the same message from Paypal.

Thank you in advance and for your patience with me–I am learning

This usually happens when some areas of your PayPal account is not fully setup. We will help you with this.

It is a good idea to use a PayPal business or premier account when are going to be selling products or services from your website. So my recommendation would be to upgrade your account to a business or premier (which is free) then complete the setup of the account.

The following video can be very helpful for this type of issue. So please watch it and see if there is any steps you can correct:

Then post the URL of the page where I can go and see the buy button on your site so I can inspect it.
