Hi there,
My member’s credit card expired so the membership was not paid. I got an alert from e-member saying it would not try to bill her again. She went into paypal and changed the card number, it worked for one month’s payment but it looks like e-member has not billed her since. What can I do to fix?
Was it a PayPal subscription? eMember doesn’t send any email saying “it would not try to bill her again”. It is likely that message came from PayPal if it was a PayPal subscription.
If PayPal fails to charge the card a couple of times, it will cancel the subscription and notify the plugin (eMember will deactivate the account at that time).
Once PayPal cancels a subscription, the user need to create a new subscription again (PayPal doesn’t allow you to re-activate a cancelled subscription). So that user just have to use the subscription button on your site and pay for it (which will setup a new subscription).
