Hey Amin,
Do you know if there is any way to do the following with emember:
1. Every month when the client automatically pays, it gives access to more content -ie, dripping out the content.
2. If they cancel their subscription, they continue to get access to the information that they’ve paid for but no more. If they recontinue their membership then they continue off of where they left off.

Nope, eMember doesn’t have content dripping option. Not sure if this is practical in your scenerio but it can be easily tweaked to work like the following:
Say for example you have a 12 month course. Every months content is put under a different membership level. When someone joins he starts at the 1st level.
Now, you create a monthly subscription button. When a recurring payment is received every month his membership level automatically gets moved to the next level. This allows him to access the content for the 2nd month and so on.

Thanks for the reply.

March 27, 2010 at 11:44 pm #16998MikeMMemberI’m new here, but just wondering if your are going to add the drip feed? I am going to be setting up a software club, where they get new software each month they are a member. So 1st monthe member gets x software, the on month 2 the xx software is activated and they have access to it. Your idea of a 12 monthe membership may work, but seems like a lot of extra work.
Thanks.

May 24, 2012 at 6:10 am #17000jfoppoliMemberIt-s two years since this last post. Have you made any progress regarding content dripping? Is this a feature now other than the upgrade option?
May 24, 2012 at 6:36 am #17001adminKeymasterContent dripping feature has been added to the eMember plugin a while back:
May 24, 2012 at 11:14 am #17002jfoppoliMemberNo, but I mean, “true” content dripping. Because, unless I am not understanding it right, if I would like to have say, like a regular magazine, I would need like an inifinite number of membership types for users to upgrade right? And lets imagine that I have two levels…. Basic and Premium, each with their own magazines , I would need like an infinite number of memberships. This is just upgrading to fix a non-dripping feature, right?
Mind you, I LOVE your plugin, I could solve a huge problem in just a couple of days, just that I want to see how far it can take me for something a little bit more complex than what I did.
May 25, 2012 at 4:56 am #17003adminKeymasterWhat is a *regular magazine* style?
May 25, 2012 at 6:07 am #17004jfoppoliMemberFor example, I am creating a Spanish magazine for two different levels, say A and B
Magazine A has issue, 1, 2, 3, 4,
Magainze B has issue 1,2,3,4,5, etc
I mean sequential with no end in sight.
May 25, 2012 at 12:28 pm #17005PeterMemberYou could try to use an autoresponder to “drip” feed the content.
That is, you can configure your autoresponder (eg, AWeber, MailChimp etc) to deliver an email for each of your magazine issues and in the email you might have a link pointing to the magazine issue you wish to present to the user.
You could make sure that the links for each magazine issue are not navigable from your site or easy to guess.
