HI. I have a membership that I’m selling that gets access to some content immediately, plus it includes an ecourse that starts on a set date (and will be run several times throughout the year).
I want to be able to set up content dripping to release the weekly ecourse content based on a course start date, not the member join date. Is this possible? I’m comfortable using basic php if that helps.
The course is 12 weeks long – I have the 12 membership levels set up (PS it would be great if we could duplicate a membership level like we can copy a product in eStore) and ready to move members through each week.
I want to have 1 ecourse page that displays the info for the current week plus all previous weeks. How best should I use the shortcodes for content dripping to do this?
Thanks for your advice on these 2 matters.
You can write a little addon or php script that (when you click a button) takes all the members of a particular level and changes their membership level to the one that is the 1st week of your drip course. It also updates the *join date* value to the course start date.
Will something like that work?
Yes! If you recommend that as the easiest way to do it, then it sounds great to me.
Of course the next question is how to set up the script to do that. Can you please help me with that?
