downloads on a later date?

When some one purchases a downloadable product from the store and on some later date want to get the download link again. What would be the process of that?

Is there any way we could offer the buyer a my download area on the site. may be if we have the emember as well, make a feature to assign products on per user basis as you are limiting the content on per membership level basis.

@chodhry, When your customers want a link you can generate a link form the “Admin Functions” of the WP eStore plugin.

The reason I don’t want to make it so you can have a link to the product that never expires (essentially a hard link) is cause people can take that and post it on forums and stuff and that jeopardize the security. Also don’t forget when you place a hard link on a page bots can pick it up.

they can still take the product and share it where ever they want.

Is it possible to let them generate the link themselves? For example if they are members of the site using eMember?

They can share it but the links expire so it doesn’t really serve the purpose.

No only the admin can generate the link
