I have another problem with the download-Links:
One customer say: he canĀ“t open the zip-file: No archive found.
One customer say: Requested File Could Not Be Found
One customer say: Unexpected end of archive
The links are right, because all people I give the original-link and all say that these work.

December 2, 2012 at 5:29 pm #21649kavazMemberHi, I have this problem too!
I can’t extract zip and rar archives. I check all the items according to your checklist but without any results! I don’t sell anything from my sites because I stil testing my project. So I discover this problem just today when trying to unzip my archives for the first time.
December 3, 2012 at 12:28 am #21650wzpModeratorWhat size zip files are you trying to download?
Does this problem only apply to compressed ZIP and RAR files?
Are you using any caching plugins?
If so, turn off any Gzip compression.
December 4, 2012 at 8:23 am #21651kavazMemberAlmost all the files has a small sizes – less then 10Mb and I use different brousers.
I have problems not only with zip and rar but with original files and images too. So I place 3d models on my store. The one of the formats – *stl – when I download it through the wp-estore it doesn’t open in special applications. Tha same with images.
I use Hyper cache plugin but I have deactivated it trying to fix this issue. Also I have deactivated all the defence and secure plugins and disabled gzip compression by adding in htacces with this string php_flag zlib.output_compression Off
December 4, 2012 at 12:41 pm #21652wzpModeratorWho is your hosting provider?
Have you tried the different download method selections?
If, after trying the different download methods, you still experience problems; you may have to use the Amazon S3 solution. The first year of service is free, and users report average costs of about 17 cents a month. Plus, AWS recently reduced their monthly rates by another 25%.
December 4, 2012 at 6:21 pm #21653kavazMemberI suspect my hoster too! Jino – you do not know it. But I’ve tried to place my files on my another site, hosted on Holland Versio and also on dropbox. The result is the same. Also I’ve tried all the download methods. I’m going to use Amazon of course but should it help me in this context?
December 5, 2012 at 1:07 am #21654adminKeymasterYeah using amazon s3 can help as that makes it to where the encrypted download doesn’t need anything from your server. So even if your server is not quite performing well, the downloads will work fine when they are coming from amazon s3.
December 30, 2012 at 9:50 am #21655kavazMemberHi!
The problem has sloved by using Amazon S3!
December 30, 2012 at 1:41 pm #21656wzpModeratorWhen using Amazon, you completely remove your server from the download process. All other methods, including placing files on another host, still keeps your server “in the loop.”
