Download link resender not stamping pdf's with pdf stamper

I have a page where customers can retrieve their download links if they expire using the short code:

[wp_eStore_download_link_sender]

However, pdf file download links that should be stamped get resent to them as originals without the stamping from the pdf stamper plugin.

In the original download link the pdf’s get stamped but not with the download link resent later if a customer refreshes their link.

That shortcode is a eStore only shortcode. It doesn’t do anything with the PDF stamper plugin. The PDF stamper doesn’t save the data that it stamped. It simply gets various customer details at the time of transaction and then it stamps those details in the PDF.

What you want can also be achieved but you would need to run the membership plugin. I see that you purchased the eMember pluign. Are you using it on this site where you have the eStore and the PDF stamper?

Okay, if you setup eMember then you could make it so the users have to log in before they can download an update of the product. eStore has a “Download Now” shortcode that can take the user information from the membership record and stamp the PDF file with those info. I am referring to the following shortcode:

[wp_eStore_download_now_button_with_stamping id=1]
