I’m testing my eStore purchase. After the purchase I get send an emial with the download link. When I click on it, IE says “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage” and FF “the connection was reset”.
Double checked if I could get access to the file via the unencrypted link and that works.
Enabled logging and when you click on the link in the email, the following gets logged:
[02/27/2012 5:00 AM] – Status : Unresolved DL file path = http://domain/filename.rar
[02/27/2012 5:00 AM] – Status : Resolved DL file path = /domain/filename.rar
[02/27/2012 5:00 AM] – Status : Dispatching DL method = 1
[02/27/2012 5:00 AM] – SUCCESS : DL completed with no server-side errors detected.
Filesize is 3 Mb.

Then do what this post says and share the “download_manager_debug.log” debug file’s content here:
Wasn’t aware of the plugin offering a simple setting to change the Download Method. Played around with a few settings and “Method 6” seems to work.
